RS-485 serial line connection using three wires
An RS-485 serial line connection is a common way to connect the echo sounder system
to external devices. This format is recommended if the serial cable needs to be very long.
Note
This connection is specific for the Nexcom NISE 3900E computer.

Use a cable with twisted pairs. If you need to install a very long cable, increase the
