Setting up the tablet and app
The tablet and Remote Control App have been set up at the factory to connect to the
wireless access point automatically. However, if your tablet’s Wi-Fi settings have been
reset, or you are experiencing issues connecting the tablet to the wireless access point,
you can follow these instructions to connect the tablet to the correct static IP.
Prerequisites
• The wireless access point must be installed and powered on. Refer to the procedure
Installing the wireless access point and tablet .
Note
We do not recommend using the DATSS Operator Panel outside of the wheelhouse.
• The wireless access point must be set up with the necessary Wi-Fi credentials. The
provided wireless access point has been set up at the factory, but if it has been reset to
factory default, refer to the procedure

Procedure
1 Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the notification panel.
2 Tap on the
Settings
icon (!).
Observe that the
Settings
app opens.
3 Tap
Connections
→
Wi-Fi
.
4 Connect to the wireless access point.
