MiniS 1.11-50V Ti
The transponder is rated to 11000 m, and the housing is an titanium tube which is
polyurethane coated to protect against corrosion and abrasion.
The transducer has a 50° vertical beam. The
transponder has an internal tilt sensor ±90° and a
rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The transponder can be
charged from an on deck battery charger or from a
ROV’s 24 V during operation.
Battery charger
Charging the battery has some risks, read the procedure first.
The battery charger charges the internal transponder battery in approximately 1 hour.
The LED charge status indicator shows when charging is complete.
In addition the battery charger for the deep water MiniS 1.11–50V Ti has an adapter from
the transducer connector to the charger.
TTC 10 (Transponder Test and Configuration unit)
The transponder test and configuration unit is designed for on deck testing and
configuration of the transponders.
The TTC can test all Kongsberg Transponder low frequency
channels, Cymbal and HPR 400. It can also test telemetry
Transponders with internal and external sensors.
