SPECIFIC INFORMATION
This class III Personal Protection Device,
842.010 known as a CEVEDALE MONO
(fig. 1) is a:
- Type B anchoring device that conforms
to the EN 795:2012 standard, suitable
for use by 3 people simultaneously, in
accordance with the CEN/TS 16415:2013
technical specification.
- Lifting device for rescue operations that
conforms to the EN 1496:2006 standard,
class B, with an additional hand-operated
lowering function, intended for lowering a
person by a distance limited to 2 m.
Note:
for rescue maneuvers with descents
longer than 2 meters, connect to the
anchorage points a descender device
conform to EN 341 (eg: 801.000 “Indy Evo”
and 822.000 “Ortis”).
WARNING
This device must not be used to arrest
a fall, without an energy absorption
system.
IMPORTANT
We recommend using this device only for
lifting people.
