Login the Web configuration page of the phone to set the input volume of handset and speaker.
This will determine the level of the sound to the IP phone.
1.9 Input
Mode
Press “ALPHA” key to change input mode between digital and alphanumeric. Default:
alphanumeric.
1.10 Abbrdialplan
This is a table of 10 entries that will allow you to program phone numbers or “prefixes”. When
using this feature, you can enter specific number patterns, which when dialed will actually dial
out different or addition digits. Once programmed there are no special buttons to press to
initiate this feature.
For example: If you live in Northern Virginia, (area code 703), and you keep forgetting to dial
“1” when you are calling local calls, you can create an entry to allow you to compensate for
when you forget the “1”. To do this, your entry would have an index of “703” and an entry of
“1703”. Now when ever you dial 703 followed by the phone number, your KE2000A will dial
1703 and the phone number.
Method of application:
1) Press “SET/OK“key to enter the main menu, and use“

settings’.
2) Press ”SET/OK“ key to the submenu and use”
”key to choose ‘Use AbbrDialPlan’;
3) Press ”SET/OK“ key and then use”

1.11 M1——M8 Speed Dial
If M1-M8 has been configured, when you pick up the handset, press it and #, the number it
stand for will be automatically dialed out. If it hasn’t been configured, a warning appears.
Please set according to the prompt.
1.12 Mute
The mute function allows you to hear your caller, but your caller will not be able to hear
anything you say.
Press “MUTE “key to talk privately with someone else without the person on the phone
hearing you. Press “MUTE” key again to continue your conversation with the other party.
1.13 Call duration display
KE2001A supports a call duration display for each call, letting you know how long you have
been on each call.
