Inserting/exchanging batteries
1. Remove the blade

from the drive head

should one be fitted.
2. Pull the gripper

downwards from the appliance.
3. Should there be discharged batteries in the
appliance, extract and dispose of them in an
environmentally responsible manner.
Insert batteries of the type Mignon AA/LR6 into
the battery compartment as per the polarity details
marked in it.
4. Push the gripper

back on to the appliance and
then press it firmly, so that it is again securely
connected with the appliance.
Using the appliance
1. Select the appropriate blade:
Smooth blade

for hard skins on hard foodstuffs, for example,
apples, potatoes, cheese or asparagus.
Serrated blade

for hard skins on soft foodstuffs, for example,
tomatoes, kiwis or peaches.
2. Place the blade

on the drive head

such that it is seated securely (see Fig.

onto the foodstuff to be
peeled and then press and hold the start button

Using a light pressure, draw the peeler over the
foodstuff.
5. Repeat this procedure until the foodstuff is
completely peeled.
6. To stop the appliance, release the start button

Note:
By using the gouge

you can remove imperfections
from the foodstuff, such as eyes in potatoes:
1. Stop the appliance by releasing the start button

2. Press the gouge

into the flesh of the vegetable/
fruit and then guide it around the imperfection.
Then lever the imperfection out.
