Pull the filter (6) up while pushing in the tip of filter removal
tool (3), and remove it.
9.
Return the removed spacer (5) to the filter removal tool (3),
and keep them.
10. Insert a new filter and a new element into the bottom of
DEF pump, and lightly tighten them with hand.
11. Tighten the filter cap (1).
Tightening torque: 20 to 25 Nm {2.0 to 2.5 kgm}
For tightening the filter cap, use the filter cap tightening
wrench which is included in the package of filter for re-
placement.
Tighten the cap with the filter cap tightening wrench to the
direction of arrow, and when the filter cap tightening
wrench bends at the position of notch, the tightening is
completed.
EVERY 4000 HOURS MAINTENANCE
Maintenance for every 10, 100, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 hours service should be performed at the same time.
REPLACE DEFINED LIFE PARTS
Material quality of these parts can change as time passes and they are likely to wear out or deteriorate.
Replace them every 2 years or every 4000 hours, whichever comes sooner.
