Check the Maximum Water Temperature
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury.
If the maximum water
temperature is above 120°F (49°C) the water temperature
must be reset to 120°F (49°C) or below to minimize scalding
hazards. Do not set the water temperature above 120°F
(49°C). Setting the water temperature at or below this
temperature will minimize the risk associated with scalding
hazards.
Turn on the water supply if it is not already on.
Remove the plaster guard.
Turn the water to full hot by turning the handle counterclockwise
until it stops.
Let the water run for at least two minutes.
Use a thermometer to determine the temperature. Make sure the
maximum temperature is below 120°F (49°C).
Turn counterclockwise
to open water flow.
Turn temperature
counterclockwise to hot.
