Temperature Limit Adjustment
NOTE:
Your faucet has the capability to limit the range of
temperatures controlled by lever position. Setting the position of the
locking ring will reduce the quantity of either hot water flow or cold
water flow. If the supplied hot water is higher than is comfortable or
safe, the quantity of cold water flow can be increased relative to the
hot water flow.
Use the following procedure to adjust the limit-temperature
locking-ring:
Pry off the plug button using a small flat-bladed screwdriver or
equivalent tool
Loosen the setscrew and remove the lever handle using the
supplied hex wrench
NOTE:
The inner and outer rings have location arrows. These
arrows are aligned with one another when the assembly is shipped.
If the outer ring is rotated clockwise in respect to the inner ring,
cold water flow will be restricted. If the outer ring is rotated
counter-clockwise in respect to the inner ring, hot water flow will be
restricted. The lever can still be used to adjust temperature within
the limited range.
Note the position of the outer locking-ring relative to the inner
geared-ring.
NOTE:
Pry the locking-ring up equally at either side in order to
remove it from the valve.
