Tools and Materials
Before You Begin
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product damage.
Handle
with care. Product can break, chip or cause injury if handled
carelessly. Get help lifting the lavatory.
CAUTION: Risk of property damage.
Do not install this
lavatory on a glass countertop. The weight of the lavatory may
damage the glass countertop.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage.
Do not apply plumbers
putty to this lavatory. Silicone sealant is required, as silicone
sealant will not discolor the product surface.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
If you are replacing an existing lavatory, turn off the water supply
to the faucet. Open the faucet valves to relieve pressure, then
disconnect the supply lines. Disconnect the drain assembly,
remove the trap, then remove the lavatory.
For new installations, ensure the water supply lines, drain piping,
vanity, and/or countertop is in place before proceeding with the
lavatory installation.
