4. Install the Faceplate and Handle
Remove and discard the plaster guard and/or dome, if installed.
Position the retainer onto the valve stem. Secure the retainer to
the valve stem with the two #10-24 x 3/4
″
screws.
Place the escutcheon over the threads of the retainer. The notch
on the escutcheon should be in the 6 o’clock position.
Rotate the valve stem fully counterclockwise to the

position.
IMPORTANT!
There is a short end and a deep end on the stem
adapter. Select the proper end to be placed on the valve stem based
on the finished wall depth.

Place the short end over the valve stem
Position the stem adapter onto the valve stem with the flat sides
of the stem adapter as horizontal and vertical as possible.
Secure the stem adapter to the valve stem with the #8-32 x 5/8

screw.
Align and hold the handle in the
