TROUBLESHOOT I N G G U I DE
Unit fails to initiate a
regeneration cycle.
Product water is hard.
Unit fails to
draw brine.
Flow to drain
continuously.
Brine overfill.
A. Electrical service is interrupted.
B. Power adapter failure.
C. Control Valve failure.
Assure permanent electrical service (check fuse, plug,
pull chain or switch).
Check the Power adapter is damaged or not, and call
service to replace it .
Contact Kohler service.
A. Salt be used up.
B. By-pass valve is opened or Internal
valve leaked.
C. Unit fails to draw brine.
D. Regeneration cycle time is too long.
E. Other.
Add the salt and start a manual regeneration
immediately.
Turn off the by-pass valve or replace the seal.
See solution No.3.
Set the related parameters again, shorten the
regeneration cycle time.
Contact Kohler service.
A. Inlet pressure is too low.
B. Eductor and eductor screen is blocked.
C. Brine line is blocked.
D. Brine line air leaks.
E. Set wrong salt amount parameter.
Increase pressure to more than 0.15MPa.
Clean parts.
Clean parts.
Check brine line for air leaks and remedy it.
Set salt amount parameter again.
A. The valve piston has not advanced to
the next cycle position properly.
B. Control Valve failure.
Unplug & plug in the power once time, let the valve
advance to the right position.
Contact Kohler service.
A. Set wrong refill time parameter.
B. Control Valve failure.
C. Plugged drain line flow control.
Set the refill time parameter again.
Contact Kohler service.
Clean flow control.
A. Eductor and eductor screen is blocked.
B. Foreign material in brine valve.
Clean parts.
Clean or replace brine valve.
