If the clock is not working, use the below procedure to resolve the problem.
1.
Replace the AA battery, ensuring you pay attention to the orientation of the polarity
symbols (+ , -).
2.
If the clock is not working after replacing the battery, re-install the hands in the
order listed below:
•
Remove the battery and align both the hour and minute hands to 12 o'clock.
•
Unscrew the cap nut.
•
Carefully remove both of the clock hands, one at a time from the clock
mechanism shaft.
•
Ensure the clock hands are not bent. Straighten them if necessary.
•
Insert the hour hand on to the shaft, followed by the minute hand, align both
hands to 12 o’clock and screw the nut cap back into place.
•
Rotate the clock hands two full cycles in a clockwise direction. Ensure the
hands are parallel and do not come in contact with each other, the frame or
the clock face.
•
Replace the battery.
3.
When hanging the clock on the wall, ensure the wall is flat and nothing is
interfering with the dial on the back of the clock mechanism.
Note:
The clock does not feature a second hand, you will need to wait a few minutes to
check if the clock is working correctly.
