Flight Adjustments and Settings

To get familiar with the operations, practice operating the controls as shown below in a large open area.
Keep practicing the manoeuvrers until you can perform them as they are being called out.

Notes for Beginners

Check to make sure all screws are tightened.

Check that the remote control and quad-copter are both fully charged.

Make sure that no people or obstructions are nearby.

Practice safe hovering before moving on to harder tricks.

Stand approximately 2m diagonally behind the quad-copter

When the four lights on the bottom of the quad-copter all flash, it means the battery is running low.

Unable to pair with the remote control.

Repeat the power up and initialisation
process.

No response after batteries are inserted into
the remote control.

Check power of both remote
control and quad-copter

Poor contact on battery
terminals.

Fully charge the quad-copter and
replace batteries in remote.

Reseat the batteries and ensure
the contact is good.

Motor not responding to throttle stick.

Helicopter battery depleted.

take off.

Deformed main blades.

Helicopter battery depleted.

Replace blades.

Charge helicopter fully.

Quad-copter is shaking violently or lunging

Main blade is out of shape.

Replace main blade.

Tail remains off-trim after adjustment, or
inconsistent speed during left/right
pirouette.
