Congratulations
Thanks for your purchase of a KOENIC product.
Please read this manual carefully and keep it
for future reference.
Cooking plates Close the lid and lock
the handle.
After use, unplug the
unit. Before use, plug the
unit in.
Remove the cooking
plate. Push release tabs
upwards.
Fit the cooking plate
at the hinge. Push slightly until it
clicks into place.

Before first time use
Remove and clean the cooking plates as
described in Cleaning and care.
Cleaning and care
1. Unplug the unit from the mains supply
and allow it to cool down.
2. Open the lid and push the release tabs
upwards; remove the cooking plate.
3. Remove the bottom cooking plate likewise.
4. Clean cooking plates in warm soapy water.
Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaners.
5. Dry all parts and then reassemble them.
Caution
• Do not insert too much filling. Never
close the lid using force!
• Never remove any residues with sharp
objects such as knives or forks.
Using the sandwich maker
1. Plug the unit in; the red power indicator
turns on. Wait until the green indicator turns
on; this takes about 6 minutes.
2. Place 1 or 2 slices of bread on the bottom
cooking plate with the greased side down.
3. Put fillings on the bread.
4. Place another 1 or 2 bread slices on top with
the greased side up.
5. Close the lid and lock the tab until it clicks
into place.
6. The sandwiches are ready when the green
light is off.
