Recommendation:
▪
During the pre-soaking/pre-cleaning phase, the conditions of use of the pre-soaking/pre-cleaning
agents must be strictly observed. Adequate personal protection measures must be taken.
▪
Follow the instructions for use from the detergent manufacturers, regarding concentration,
duration, contact and post-process control procedures.
▪
Regardless of the cleaning method used, the instrument must be stored quickly in order to avoid
recontamination.
▪
The temperature shall not exceed (137°C/278,6°F) to avoid deterioration of the devices.
4.1
Manual Cleaning
4.1.1
Pre-soaking/Pre-cleaning directly after use
Detach the internal support from the external one by detaching the screws.
Prepare a bath with an enzymatic detergent (e.g.: ENZOL® Enzymatic Detergent (Johnson &
Johnson), or ANIOSYME DD1 (Laboratoires ANIOS)) or equivalent, at air temperature (20 ±
5°C/68 ± 9°F). Realize the dilution according to the concentration specified by the detergent
manufacturer.
Immerse all the parts of the support for the time specified by the detergent manufacturer.
Rinse the Steady Pro® supports for 1 minute with cold water from hospital network before
proceeding to cleaning phase.
4.1.2
Cleaning
Care must be taken not to shock or damage the instruments.
Before starting the cleaning, each part of the disassembled Steady Pro® supports must be inspected
in order to highlight any damage in the devices.
The cleaning procedure is composed of several cleaning steps:
1.
Brush the disassembled Steady Pro® supports for maximum 2 minutes in order to remove
visible soils with legally marketed and appropriate brushes detailed below or equivalent.
