6. CHARGING
before use or storage, plug your kodak ppS1800 into the wall until it is fully charged. if the display shows
less than 20% capacity, plug it into a power source, like an ac outlet or a solar panel as soon as possible.
ATTENTION
only charge the unit when the ambient temperature is between 0 and +40 °c (32 - 104 °f).
end the charging process by switching off the unit and pulling the plug out of the socket.
connect your kodak ppS1800 to pV (Solar panel) to activate the pV charge function. the first column
on the display will light up and shows the input power. the unit will charge in online and offline mode. if
the unit is offline, turn on the device by holding down the master power button for more than 1 second.
the display will then light up but you still need to press the ac and dc buttons to activate these outputs.
NOTE
if the master power button is not turned on, the ac button and dc buttons are in offline status with no
ac and dc output. if master power button is turned on, the ac and dc buttons are still in offline mode
and there will be no ac or dc output. you need to turn on the ac and dc power button separately.

1) failure codes (e) (see 9. troubleshooting) will appear in the position of „charging power“,
„dc output power“ and „ac output power“
2) kodak ppS1800 will turn off automatically after 60s
if the master power button is turned on but the dc and ac power buttons are not.
