AINTENANCE
The brushes on the electric DC motor can be easily checked by removing the caps and visually
inspecting the brushes. Replace the carbon brushes as required and check the internal
condition of the motor. (see appendix E)

Monthly (12 times per year)
o
Inspect connections for leaks.
•
Quarterly (4 times per year)
o
Verify adequate oil level.
o
Visually inspect wire and cable insulation for splits or damage.
•
Every (2) two years
o
Sample and analyze the oil in the steering lines.
o
Drain reservoir and clean out.
