OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
8. Operating the Screwgun
a. Set the desired screw-in depth.
b. Secure the workpiece. Use clamps if necessary.
c. Install the battery pack.
d. Check the direction-of-rotation selector (D) for
the correct setting (forward or reverse).
e. Fit the screw on the point of the bit (H) and
place the point of the screw on the surface of
the workpiece to be fastened.
f. Depress the variable-speed trigger switch (E) to
start the screwgun.
NOTE:
The magnetic bit holder (G) is magnetized
and will hold most commercial drywall screws.
g. Apply quick, snap-action type pressure to the
bit. The pressure applied will engage the clutch and drive the screw.
NOTE:
The bit will automatically stop rotating once the pressure to the bit is released.
h. When you have finished driving screws, turn off the screwgun.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician.
Cleaning
Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery pack from the tool.
For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean.
Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean your screwgun; never use detergent or alcohol.
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
• Turn the switch to the “OFF” position, place the direction-of-rotation selector (D) in the
center-lock position before performing troubleshooting procedures.
