These instructions should be read carefully and retained
after installation by the end user for future reference and
maintenance.
SAFETY
•
This product must be installed in accordance with the latest
edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and current
Building Regulations. If in any doubt, consult a qualified
electrician
•
Please isolate mains prior to installation or maintenance
•
Do not overload this product or subject it to conditions outside
its rating:
- LED dimming range 5 - 100W
- Incandescent/halogen dimming range 10 - 150W
- Not suitable for fluorescent lamps
•
Please check compatibility with intended load before installation
INSTALLATION
•
Pull cabling through the grid frame, strip insulation accordingly,
and terminate into the module (see Fig. 1)
•
Check all electrical connections are secure with all exposed
copper within the terminal and no loose strands of cable
•
Insert the bottom edge of the module into the grid frame, and
clip into place, ensuring the tab at the top is holding the module
securely
•
Adjust the position of the frame in relation to the wall. Attach
the front plate, either using the fixing screws provided or by
carefully aligning the rear clips to the frame and clipping into
position
•
Switch on and check for correct operation
•
For a multiple gang dimmer repeat the wiring method for each
dimmer unit

Two-way switching with a dimmer can only be achieved when
there is only one dimmer in the system. Two-way dimming
cannot be achieved
