Switching the pumps on
➔
In order to guarantee that the pump can start every time it is
advisable to reduce the back pressure to an acceptable level.
This is also the case if there is a short power cut.

Switching the pumps off
➔
Ensure that the system is subject to normal atmospheric pres-
sure (release the hydraulic pressure.
➔
The motor speed of the pump, and thus the flow rate, is adjust-
able and can also be regulated to some extent.

Duty cycle / impulse operation
For pressures over 0.5barg / 7.3 psi (NMP830KPDC HP,
NMP830.1.2KPDC-B HP, NMP830.1.2KPDC-B4 HP) respective
over 0.7barg / 10.2 psi (NMP830KPDC-B HP und NMP830KPDC-
B4 HP), the duty cycle must be restricted.
During operation, a maximum temperature of 90°C should not be
exceeded in the pump head (EPDM components). The tempera-
ture must be measured on the pressure side of the pump head. For
higher temperatures FKM components are recommended.
Measurement position see sketch bellow:
Operation above these borders may influence the life-time.
