NOVAR 2100/2200 Operating Manual
After entering into the side branch of the tool (“the parameter” 21), you can set :
•
the output type and minimum (nominal) output reactive power (
O
MIN
) in the 1
st
window
•
the output ratio in the 2
nd
window
•
the total number of outputs in the 3
rd
window
The output type and power presentation is the same as the individual output type & power in the
parameter 25 – see below.
When you enter the manual filler tool side branch, the “parameters” are preset as shown on figure 4.8.
Now you can edit values in the first two screens arbitrarily, but until the total number of outputs is set,
no change of the outputs setup is done – if the number of outputs is set to
zero
,
no bulk setup is
applied.
Only when
the number of outputs
in the third screen is set to any
nonzero
value,
the bulk setup of
outputs occurs.
The controller fills preset number of outputs' types and powers, starting from the output No. 1.1 up,
with preset type and appropriate weight of power. Powers of the outputs corresponding to weights 6
and higher are set to the same size as the weight 5. Both control and fixed outputs are filled; only the
outputs preset as alarm or fan/heater control are left unaffected.
4.3.4.3 Output Type & Nominal Power, No. 25
All of the sections' (=outputs') fundamental characteristics are listed at
the side branches of parameters 25 ÷ 31.
The parameter group 25 contains output types and nominal three-
phase reactive powers of the sections.
In the side branch you can scroll through the outputs. On the example
at the left you can see :
•
output No. 2.3 just listed
•
its nominal three-phase reactive power is 15.6 kvars
The output type character – capacitor or choke – can be toggled by editing the output power size
below zero.
During editing, the controller checks typed output reactive power value by comparing it with
the instrument measurement sensitivity. If the value entered is too low, it is cut to zero.
If an output control state is set to fan/heater control or alarm signalling (see below), its type and power
are irrelevant.
