LINE IN and LINE OUT (+6 dB)
Electronically balanced input and output connectors. Use the XLR female connector
(marked ‘IN’) as input. The parallel-wired XLR male connector (‘OUT’) is for connec-
tion to further ‘SP’ loudspeakers.

GROUND LIFT
When the ‘Ground Lift’ switch is set to LIFT, pin 1 of the LINE IN connector (ground)
is not connected to the chassis ground of the integrated amplifier module. The
ground connection between LINE IN (XLR male) and LINE OUT (XLR female) is main-
tained. The use of the ‘Ground Lift’ switch is sometimes necessary in dealing with
hum problems (see chapter 10.1 )

PROTECTIVE COVER
The protective cover prevents unwanted adjustment of the gain control and filter
ON / OFF switch. The cover has a snap-in lock. In order to reach the controls be-
neath, turn the cover sharply in the direction of the arrow.
