read this manual carefully before using the product and operate the product in
accordance with this manual. Please keep this manual for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety in-
formation. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury
or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons/product
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Leave
neither the device nor packaging material lying around. These may become
dangerous for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts,
high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours, and solvents. Do not place
the product under any mechanical stress. If it is no longer possible to operate
the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any accidental
use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product is visibly
damaged, is no longer working properly, has been stored for extended periods
in poor ambient conditions, has been subjected to any serious transport-related
stresses. Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from
a low height can damage the product. Also observe the safety and operating
instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
Attention:
Do not look into the LED light directly or with optical instruments!
b) Batteries/rechargeable batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries. Batteries should
be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid
damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns
when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle
corrupted batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as there is the risk that children or pets may swallow them.
All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries
in the device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
c) Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device. Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.
OPERATION
1. The power supply of the product is provided either by USB or three AAA
batteries. Read the chapters “USB connection” or “Inserting/replacing batteries”,
accordingly.
2. Place the product on a stable surface or attach the product with the clamp
mounting. Make sure that the LED music stand light is attached to a stable
object (e.g. music stand, desk etc.). Otherwise the LED music stand light or the
object could be damaged.
3. Put the swivel arms in the desired position.
4. Switch the product on or off by pressing the on/off switch on the lamp
head. When doing so observe the following sequence:
Press 1 x:
one lamp comes on
Press 2 x:
both lamps come on
Press 3 x:
off

USB CONNECTION
1. Connect the round plug of the USB cable to the power supply jack on the
lamp base.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power supply source (5 V/DC,
at least 100 mA). You can operate the LED music stand light with the USB cable
while batteries are in the battery compartment.
INSERT/REPLACING BATTERIES
1. Switch off the product using the on/off switch and disconnect it from the
USB power supply source.
2. Open the battery compartment and remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert three AAA batteries with the correct polarity into the battery
compartment. While doing so observe the polarity instructions inside the battery
compartment.
4. Reattach the battery compartment cover and lock and lock it. The product
can be operated for approx. 20 h with the supplied batteries
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Except for an occasional cleaning, the unit is maintenance free. The LED lights
used are securely built-in and cannot be exchanged.
Before cleaning, switch the product off and disconnect it from the power supply.
Then let it fully cool down.
For cleaning all you need is a dry, soft, and clean cloth. Do not press too hard
on the casing as this can lead to scratches.

According to § 12 par. 1 No. 1-3 BattV (Regulation for the return and disposal
of used batteries and accumulators (BattVO) dated March 27, 1998 (BGBl. I
S. 658)) we as seller inform that the customer as end consumer is obliged to
return used batteries by law. Batteries can be returned free of charge after use
to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity. If batteries are
sent to the seller, sufficient postage is to be paid. The the symbol of the wheel
bin means that the batteries contain heavy metals and harmful chemicals that
may not be disposed of in household or commercial waste. The abbreviations
under the symbol mean: “Cd” (Cadmium), “Pb” (Lead), “Hg” (Mercury)
DISPOSAL ADVICE FOR EEE-ARTICLES
Our customer is obliged to return the EEE-article after its lifespan separately
from the household or commercial waste. EEE-articles can be returned free of
charge after use to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity.
