Replacing the lamp
Tips for saving energy
Operation, care and cleaning
Lamp data: LED, 2W
•
To replace the bulb: Unscrew the screw (depending on
model).
• Press the lamp cover and remove the lamp cover to the
rear.
• Replace defective bulbs.
•
Refit the lamp cover and tighten screw.
• Switch power on.
Switch off before the lamp replacement unit and
disconnect the mains plug or switch off fuse, or turn
out.
• Do not place the appliance near cookers, radiators or other
heat sources. At high ambient temperature, the compres-
sor runs more often and longer and leads to increased
energy consumption.
• Allow adequate ventilation on the unit base and on the rear
side. Vents you should never cover.
• The arrangement of drawers and shelves as they are seen
in the figure, provides the most efficient use of energy and
should therefore be retained as possible.
• All drawers and shelves should remain in the unit to keep
the temperature stable and to conserve energy.
• To get a bigger storage space (eg in a large refrigerated /
frozen food), the middle drawers are removed. The upper
and lower drawers and shelves should be removed if neces-
sary as a last resort.
•
A uniformly filled fridge freezer compartment contributes
to the optimal use of energy. Therefore, avoid empty or
half-empty compartments.
• Allow hot food to cool down before you put them in the
fridge / freezer. Already cooled foods increase energy
efficiency.
• Let frozen in the refrigerator to thaw. The cold of the frozen
food reduces energy consumption in the cooling compart-
ment, thus increasing the energy efficiency.
• Open the door only as short as necessary to minimize the
loss of cold air. Short open and properly closed doors redu-
ce energy demand.
• Setting the temperature not colder than necessary contri-
butes an optimal use of energy. The optimum temperature
in the refrigerator is + 7 ° C. It should be measured in refri
-
gerators on the top shelf as far forward.
• Allow adequate ventilation on the unit base, the devices
sides and on the rear panel. Vents you should never cover.
Please also note the distance measures under Chapter,
„setting up“.
• Keep the condenser - the metal mesh on the rear side -
always clean.
• A regular cleaning minimizes the energy consumption of
your device (depending on device construction may not be
accessible).
• The door gaskets of your device must be completely intact,
so that the doors close properly and the power consumpti-
on is not increased unnecessarily.
