Install Duct Covers
NOTE: Remove the film from the duct covers.
1. Slide the upper duct covers inside the lower duct covers.
NOTE: For non-vented (recirculating) installations the slotted
holes in the upper duct cover will be visible when assembled. For
vented installations the slotted holes will be hidden down inside
the lower duct covers.
2. Place the long end of the plastic clips (2) into the bottom of
the lower duct cover for front placement.
3. Attach the assembled upper and lower duct covers with the
plastic clips (front placement) to the range hood canopy.
4. Place the assembled upper and lower duct covers without
plastic clips (rear placement) onto the range hood canopy.
NOTE: When you are assembling the front and back duct covers,
the larger hole in the flange of the upper duct cover must be
outside of the smaller hole in the mating flange. The lower duct
cover flange (both sides) is placed over the plastic clip to secure
the lower duct covers together at the bottom.
5. Secure the top duct covers together with 2 - 3 x 6 mm
screws.
6. Slide the upper duct covers to the ceiling and secure to the
upper horizontal support with 2 - 3 x 6 mm screws.
