HOT GAS VALVE SOLENOID
Refer to page 4-17 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the hot gas valve solenoid.
1. Unplug ice maker or disconnect power.
2. Set the ohmmeter to the appropriate
scale.
3. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the pins
of the hot gas valve solenoid 2-wire con-
nector. The meter should indicate between
365 and 390 ohms.
Refer to page 4-16 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the measured fi ll water valve. Refer to
page 3-7 for diagnostic mode.
1. Unplug ice maker or disconnect power.
2. Unsnap and remove the cover from the
measured fi ll water valve.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the appropriate
scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the mea-
sured fi ll water valve solenoid terminals.
The meter should indicate between 240
and 280 ohms.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
