when using the 3-Point hitch
1. use the 3-point hitch only with
equipment designed for 3-point
hitch usage.
2. When using a 3-point hitch mount-
ed implement, be sure to install the
proper counterbalance weight on
the front of the tractor.
3. When transporting on the road,
set the implement lowering control
in the "lock" position to hold the
implement in the raised position.
in order to service your tractor you
must park it on a flat level surface, set
the parking brake, place the gear shift
lever in neutral and stop the engine.
1. do not smoke while working around
the battery or when refueling your
tractor. Keep all sparks and flames
away from the battery and fuel tank.
The battery presents an explosive
hazard because it gives off hydro-
gen and oxygen gas, especially
when recharging.

before servicing any part that may
have become hot while the tractor
was running.
3. You must always stop the engine be-
fore refueling the tractor. avoid over-
filling the tractor or spilling the fuel.
4. before jump starting a dead bat-
tery, read and follow all of the in-
structions.
5. It is recommended to keep a first
aid kit and fire extinguisher handy
at all times.
