USING MANUAL MODE AND AUTOMATIC MODE
Automatic Mode
After calibration is completed, the hood will be configured in Automatic Mode and when the hood is turned
on, the sensor will take an initial reading of the air quality in your kitchen.
This will take around thirty seconds and the Air Sense Control will flash white. Once completed the Air
Sense control will change colour according to the air quality and set the fan speed automatically based upon
the table above.
NOTE:
1. If the display shows “A.O”, the Air Sense icon is green, and the air quality does not alter, the hood will
automatically turn off after ten minutes.
2. If the display shows “A.1”, the Air Sense icon is green, and the air quality does not alter, the hood will
automatically drop to “A.O” after five minutes.
Manual Mode
If you wish to control the hood manually you can switch to manual control by pressing the Fan Speed Up
control .The display will change from the current automatic speed and increase the fan speed by one, for
example from “A.1” to “S.2”.
The display will also flash indicating that this is a temporary override and this will continue for five minutes
before returning to the previous automatic level setting.
Once in Manual Mode, you can control the fan speed by using the Fan Speed Down control
and Fan
Speed Up control and by pressing the Air Sense Status control
once, this will confirm the new manual
speed and the display will stop flashing.
Alternatively, press the Air Sense Status control
again to return to Automatic Mode straight away.
