4.3  PROGRAMMING AND DELETING RADIO CODES

The PROG button on the control unit is used to store new codes and delete the entire list of codes.

Programming

- Power the control unit correctly.

- Press the PROG button: the red LED lights up to signal that programming is in progress.

- Make a transmission by pressing the transmitter button associated with the enabled channel.

- The code is stored. The LED flashes while memorising the code. Afterwards, the LED is lit with a steady light to signal that a new

code can be entered.

- Store all the transmitters by making a transmission with each one.

- Afterwards, press the PROG button again to exit the procedure. The LED switches off. Ten seconds after storing the last code, the

procedure closes automatically.

- The codes stay in the memory even in the event of a blackout.

Total deletion of codes

- Press and hold down the PROG button until the red LED starts to flash

- Press button P1 again within 10 sec. to confirm the deletion. The LED flashes rapidly to confirm the deletion.

4.4 LEARNING WORK TIMES

The control unit can learn the opening and closure work times. To enter learning mode, the control unit must be in stop-closed status.

- Press the programming key once and release it. The LED lights up with a red steady light.

- Press the programming key again for approximately 2 seconds until the LED flashes briefly.

- Within 10s, press the enabled key of the transmitter or close the OPEN contact to activate the motor opening manoeuvre. The control

unit starts to measure the opening work time. At the end of the work time, press the key of the transmitter again or the OPEN key. The

motor stops in standby.

- Press the enabled key of the transmitter or close the OPEN contact to activate the motor closure manoeuvre. The control unit starts

to measure the closure work time. At the end of the work time, press the key of the transmitter again or the OPEN key. The motor

stops in STOP status and the LED switches off. The procedure is terminated.

While making the manoeuvre, the control unit adds 2 seconds to the set manoeuvre times, to ensure the manoeuvres are completed

even in the event of slow-down due to environmental conditions or wear.

4.5 SELECTING THE COURTESY LIGHT OR AUTONOMOUS FLASHING LIGHT

The output LAMP can operate as a courtesy light or flashing light.

For the “courtesy light”, the output is active for 1 minute starting from the beginning of each manoeuvre.

For the “flashing light”, the output activates 2 seconds before the beginning of each manoeuvre (pre-flash) and stays active for the

duration of the manoeuvre. An autonomous flashing light with 230VAC power supply must be connected.

Insert the jumper CL/WL in position CL to operate with the “courtesy light”.

Insert the jumper CL/WL in position WL to operate with the “flashing light”.

4.6 DESCRIPTION OF OPERATING MODES

If the STOP contact is open, the control unit accepts no commands via radio or from the terminal board.

If the STOP contact is closed, the control unit can only carry out manoeuvres according to the following operating modes:

Step-by-step mode

At each impulse received via radio or on the OPEN contact, the control unit carries out a step in the sequence OPEN-STOP-CLOSE-

STOP.

Reaching one of the limit stops or the elapsing of the work time is equivalent to the STOP situation.

Automatic mode

At the first impulse received via radio or on the OPEN contact, the control unit carries out the opening manoeuvre. Once the opening

manoeuvre is complete, it stays in STOP for the duration of the pause time (adjustable via the PAUSE trimmer) then carries out the

closure manoeuvre. During the pause, other commands via radio or on the OPEN contact have no effect. During the closure manoeu-

vre, other commands via radio or on the OPEN contact generate a new opening and the sequence is repeated. The pause time is

adjustable between 3 and 90 seconds via the PAUSE trimmer.

Semiautomatic closure mode

When the OPEN contact closes, the control unit carries out the opening manoeuvre for the whole time the contact remains closed (or

upon reaching the limit stop or the work time elapsing) and then goes to STOP condition.

From the STOP condition, an impulse on the OPEN contact generates the closure manoeuvre. During the closure manoeuvre, a new

command on the OPEN contact generates a new opening for the entire time the contact is closed.

Semiautomatic opening mode

At the first impulse on the OPEN contact, the control unit carries out the opening manoeuvre until reaching the limit stop or the work

time elapsing and then goes to STOP condition.

From the STOP condition, when the OPEN contact closes, the control unit carries out the closure manoeuvre for the entire time in

which the contact stays closed (or upon reaching the limit stop or the work time elapsing) and then goes to STOP condition.

During the opening manoeuvre, a command on the OPEN contact generates a closure for the entire time the contact is closed (or upon

reaching the limit stop or the work time elapsing).

4.7 PHOTOCELL OPERATION

The photocell has a “safety in closure” function.

During the closure manoeuvre, in modes “STEP-BY-STEP” ,“AUTOMATIC” and “SEMIAUTOMATIC CLOSURE” only, the photocell

triggering generates the motion inversion until complete reopening.

During the opening manoeuvre, in all modes, the photocell triggering has no effect.

In mode “SEMIAUTOMATIC OPENING”, the photocell triggering has no effect.

In the absence of a photocell, jump terminals PHO and COM on the terminal board.

In the presence of a photocell, connect the output contact of the photocell to terminals PHO and COM of the control unit so that, with

the photocell not interrupted, the contact PHO – COM is closed.
