OPERATION

Caution:

Prior to plugging in the unit into your power outlet ensure the ON/OFF switch (3) is in

the off position.

1.  To turn the ventilator ON push the ON/OFF switch across as shown in (fig 1.)
2.  To Turn the ventilation fan OFF push the ON/OFF switch (3) as shown in (fig 2.)

For Exhausting Contaminated Air:

If the ventilation fan will be used to exhaust contaminated air from a situation such as welding, the fumes

collected should be ducted to the outside of your work area or building. The ventilation fan must be

located as close as possible to both the operation and the outside of the building.

Note:

A ventilation duct may be required for this type of application, fitting a ventilation duct will reduce

the airflow by about 5-15 CFM for every additional meter of hose or installed ducting (not included),

however KP1004 Ventilation duct can be purchased as an optional accessory.

Note:

Each 90° change in air flow direction (as with an elbow) will reduce the airflow approximately

15-20 CFM.

KP1004 Ventilation Ducting (optional accessory not supplied)

The KP1004 ventilation ducting (5m) is designed to be attached to a 300mm portable ventilation fan

when required.
