Get to Know Your Corvette Race Car Before Driving

Shifter

Shifter

The shifter controls the Corvette

Race Car’s speed and forward/

reverse.

Low speed

Low speed (2-1/2 mph) is for

beginning drivers. See page 1

instructions. 

Reverse

Reverse (2-1/2 mph) is used for

backing up. The tail light will come

on. See page 1

Foot pedal

The foot pedal controls forward

motion, reverse and stopping.

Forward/reverse

Push down on the foot pedal, 

and the Corvette Race Car will go

forward in high or low speed or

backward in reverse. 

To stop

Release the foot pedal, and the

Corvette Race Car will stop.

NOTE:

When the foot pedal is

released, the Corvette Race Car

will coast slightly before coming

to a complete stop.

IMPORTANT! The Corvette Race Car MUST come to a complete stop before
shifting into reverse and into low or high speed. Damage to the gears and motor
WILL occur.
