tops and bottoms of the panels should be flush.   Make sure the panels are square then using the pilot holes as 

a guide pre-drill with a 3/16” drill bit and fasten the back (2677) Narrow Panel to (2622) End Panel Assembly and 

(2622) End Panel Assembly to the front (2677) Narrow Panel with 4 (WL5) 1/4 x 2-1/2” Wafer Lags per side.  (fig.
