Installing Pilot Line Non-Return Valve

Follow these steps to install the pilot line non-return valve:

1. Install the release unit as specified in Section 4-7.7. Do not connect actuation lines to the

release unit.

2. Install the pilot line non-return valve into the inlet port of the cylinder valve.
3. Fit quick connect hose from release unit to non-return valve as shown in Figure 4-15.
4. Fit quick connect hose from upstream and downstream cylinders as shown in Figure 4-15.

Note:

The pilot line non-return valve prevents unwanted actuation of cylinders upstream of

the sub-master cylinder. This component is used for multi-area systems only.
