Charge the Battery
The battery can be charged at any time during the assembly
process; however,
it’s best to do it at this time
since you will be
installing the motorcycle seat over the battery.
The first charge
will take twenty four hours.
1.
Disconnect the the red connectors by pressing on the tab on the side
of the connector.
2.
Plug the
charger connector
into the
battery connector
on the
battery. Only use the Kid Trax toys 6V charger included with the
Kid Trax
Motorcycle (Input: AC 120V, 60Hz Output: DC 6V).
3.
Plug the
charger
into a standard 120V wall outlet.
Note:
The charger may feel warm during charging. This is normal and
not a cause for concern.
4.
After charging is complete (at least
eight
hours, but not more than
sixteen hours,
with the first charge taking twenty four hours) unplug
the charger from the wall outlet.
5.
Unplug the
battery connector
from the
charger connector
.
Connect the Battery to the Motor
Whether this is your first use, or you are re-charging after your child has
been riding, you will need to re-connect the charger connector to the
motor by doing the following:

Connect the
red connectors
together.
7.
Store the wires and connectors down next to the battery.
8.
Place the seat back onto the battery compartment and lock the seat into
place. See
page 12
for locking instructions.
