eBook : Sytstem will treat all files under it as eBook, and import them to the Library, and they can be
browse under eBook of the Library.
Others : No matter what files in it, system do not classify them. Even the pdf files, music files…
2.4.1.2 Standard SD card
Standard SD card that no any encryptions.
2.4.2 Menca Card
Publisher should put their content to the Menca Card, and there is an encryption partition table to
protect contents in it. Menca card can only be accessed by R1 device, There are two types for Menca card
partition table:

Open Partition: Unencrypted. User can use it store any contents from any where, such as
copy from PC … and any device can access contents in it freely

Close Partition: Use some mechanism to protect contents in it. It is used for publisher to
store their contents on the Menca Card, It only can be accessed by R1 DIGIREADER device.
2.4.3 Access cards
You can access from a PC to open partition of your cards(include SD card and Menca card) installed in
your R1 digireader to exchange files.
All you need is to connect your R1 digireader to your PC with a USB cable. As soon as you complete the
connection, the screen will change to the one as shown below:
