2.4 Cards
The R1 digireader provides the capability of reading and writing SD card and Menca card, The R1
digireader supports both MicroSD card (hereafter referred as “SD Card”) and Menca card (hereafter
referred as “Menca card”).
2.4.1 SD Card
The R1 digireader support SD card work as two modes, one is standard SD card mode, another is
encrypted mode(hereafter referred as “euSD”), The user can choose type when format the SD card.
2.4.1.1 euSD
euSD is a standard SDCard too, euSD is used for both user data and backup/lend/purchase data.
And there are two partitions on euSD (Divide the sd card into half):

Open Partition: Unencrypted. User can use it store any contents from any where, such as
copy from PC … and any device can access contents in it freely

Close Partition: Use some mechanism to protect contents on the SD card. It is used to store
contents that backup/lend from Menca Card, and contents download from Cloud. It couldn’t
be accessed by any other device.
There are four pre-built folders under Open partition table of euSD:
Music : System will treat all files under it as music, and import them to the Library, and they can be
browse under Music of the Library.
Audiobook : System will treat all files under it as Audiobook, and import them to the Library, and they
can be browse under Audiobook of the Library.
