Controlling the Test Set
1-
DHCP Command
This command disables or enables the use of the Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP).
Syntax
SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DHCP {OFF|0|ON|1}
SYSTem:COMMunicate:LAN:DHCP?
When DHCP is enable (factory setting), the instrument will try to obtain an IP
address from the DHCP server. If a DHCP server is found, it will assign a
Dynamic IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway to the instrument.
When the DHCP is disable or unavailable, the instrument will use the Static IP
address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway during power-on.
If you change the DHCP setting, you must cycle power on the U3020A to
activate the new setting.
Example
The following command disables DHCP:
SYST:COMM:LAN:DHCP OFF
