Dual-Lead Adapter
The dual-lead adapter allows you to connect the probe to common probing test
clips and hooks that have 0.025-inch (0.635 mm) pins. Insert the probe’s tip into
the adapter as shown in
. The adapter’s leads are approximately 60 mm
long.

Insulating Cap
The insulating cap fits over the probe tip and covers the grounding
band of the probe barrel. This enables you to probe in high-density
environments without having to worry about shorting the circuit. Use
the alligator ground lead when probing with the insulating cap.
