Attenuator Options
Attenuator options will slightly degrade the maximum power output from the module.
A25- Manually Adjustable Attenuator
• micrometer controlled
• 25 dB range minimum (not available on the E8257DS02)
EA2- Electronically Controlled Attenuator
Available on the E8257DS12 (only).
• inside modules chassis (controlled by DC voltage)
• increases module size
• 50 dB attenuator range
• use PSG LF Out = DC (0-3.5 V, 110 mA max) to control
— requires PSG Option UNT
• includes 20 dB fixed waveguide attenuator
• includes correction files on USB drive (output power vs frequency & LF voltage)
