HEART RATE PROGRAMS:
Heart Rate programs will auto adjust the tension level during your exercise session. If your heart rate is under
the programmed level the tension level will increase one level every thirty seconds until target heart rate is
achieved. As soon as our are at your Target Heart Rate is achieved the tension level will decrease slightly to
keep you in that target. If your heart rate is over the programmed level the tension level will decrease one
level every fifteen seconds until target is reached. If your heart rate stays over the target and the tension level
has decreased to 1 the console will stop and an alarm will sound. This is a safety measure.
There are three preset programs available and four Target Heart Rate programs. The three preset program pro-
files are on the console. The Target Heart Rate programs are 55% maximum heart rate, 75%, 90% and Target
Heart Rate user program.
The console uses the age data to calculate your Target Heart Rate. If age 30 is input in the 55% program, the
target heart rate will be 104. This is 55% of the Maximum Heart Rate of 190.
To change console settings from MPH (Miles Per Hour) to
KPH (Kilometers Per Hour) flip switch on back of unit.
