DG 90 - Digital Piano
69
The DG 90 does not only choose the algorithm to be assigned to the DSPs but it also allows its substantial modification and saving in dedicat-
ed memories. To modify an algorithm - first of all, it must be selected among Chorus, Delay and Distorsion, simply by pressing the function push
button and choosing the algorithm. Without doing anything else at this stage press
F10 Edit
to access the menu.
No matter what algorithm is to be modified, the Edit page shows some fixed parameters as discussed:
FF44 D
Deeffaauulltt:
This resets the parameters of the algorithm at their original values.
FF55 EEssccaappee:
This returns to the Effects menu.
FF88 SSoouurrccee:
This indicates the current algorithm selected to be modified, however by pressing function push button
F8
several times, a
different algorithm can be selected.
FF99 D
Deessttiinnaattiioonn:
This specifies the destination memory for the algorithm modified. It is selected by pressing the function push button
F9
repeatedly.
FF110
0 SSaavvee:
This confirms and saves the parameters modified in the memory selected using
F9 Destination
.
The single parameters to be modified are shown in the middle of the display that are selected using the
CURSOR
+/- push buttons and are mod-
ified using the
VALUE
+/- push buttons.
PARAMETERS FOR CHORUS ALGORITHMS
LLeevveell:
This is the level of the signal.
D
Deellaayy:
This is the length of the delay.
FFeeeeddbbaacckk:
This is the repetition degree of the Delay.
R
Raattee:
This is the modulation speed.
D
Deepptthh:
This is the modulation intensity.
PARAMETERS FOR DELAY ALGORITHMS
V
Voolluum
mee C
Ceenntteerr:
This is the level of the signal repeated in the centre.
V
Voolluum
mee LLeefftt:
This is the level of the signal repeated to the left.
V
Voolluum
mee R
Riigghhtt:
This is the level of the signal repeated to the right.
D
Deellaayy C
Ceenntteerr:
This is the delay speed for repeating the signal in the centre.
D
Deellaayy LLeefftt:
As above but for the signal to the left.
D
Deellaayy R
Riigghhtt:
As above but for the signal to the right.
FFeeeeddbbaacckk:
This is the signal regeneration degree.
FFiilltteerr:
This is the LPF filter to cut out the higher frequencies.
PARAMETERS FOR DISTORSOR ALGORITHMS
LLeevveell:
This is the level of the signal.
TToonnee:
This is the timbre variation degree.
R
Reessoonnaannccee:
This is the accentuation of the frequencies of the distorted timbre.
