The KESSEL submersible pumps KTP 300,
500 and GTF 1000 were originally develo-
ped as mobile / movable pumps. This pump
is ideal for dewatering excavations or tren-
ches. With the multiple applications for
which the pump can be used, it also is ideal
for private use.
The KESSEL submersible pumps KTP 300,
500, GTF 1000 can pump out of wells with a
minimum diameter of 200mm as well as
being used in nearby streams or bodies of
water for garden and plant watering. Swim-
ming pools, ponds, excavations and the like
can be easily pumped out by these pumps
which offer vertical and lateral connections.
The KESSEL submersible pumps KTP 300,
500, GTF 1000 should be placed at the lo-
west point of the area being pumped out
where they can sit firmly so that they will not
tilt or rock.
KESSEL Advantage:
컄
The threaded connection can easily be
replaced by removing the two screws; no
more jammed hose connections.

Special KTP 300 Characteristics:
The base / suction basket of the KTP 300
can be removed as to allow a very low
suction height of 8mm (float switch can be
fixed in the ‘ON’ position to allow the pump
to operate in low water levels).
*Unplug the KTP 300 before remo-
ving the base / suction basket. Be
careful when operating the KTP
300 without the base / suction
basket as the rotating impeller is
now exposed.
During mobile use the of the KTP 300, the
supplied non-return flap does not need to be
used – this will allow the outlet pipe or hose
connected to the KTP 300 to drain free when
the pump is not operating.
Installation of non-return flap
During fixed use of the KTP 300 (as a per-
manently connected pump or lifting station)
it is recommended that the non-return flap is
used.
Removal/Installation of the non-return flap
Unscrew and remove the KTP 300 outlet, re-
move the non-return flap / if installing the
non-return flap make sure that the flap
opens upward. Re-install the outlet device
with O-ring with the two screws.
