2  Assembling the Balance 

2.1  Unpacking the Balance 

Carefully remove the balance from the packaging and out of the plastic covering, 
then place the balance on the assigned position.

2.2 Set 

up 

Set up the balance on a horizontal stable base (see “Important Information”). 

 

2.3  Battery operation and change 

• 

Remove the battery cover from the bottom of the balance 

• 

Connect 

9 V

 PP3 batteries. 

• 

Re-insert the Battery cover  

• 

Battery conservation through automatic power-off 

1 –2

 minutes after ending a 

weighing operation. 

• 

When the battery power is used  the display will show “

LO

”. Press the 

OFF

 key 

and change the battery at once. 

• 

When the balance is not in use for a longer of period time remove batteries and 
keep them separately- Leakage of battery liquid might damage the balance.
