VII Manufacturer´s instructions
Permissible usage
The heater may only be used to heat indoor areas and dry damp
textiles. Each and every other usage is not purpose-related and
is therefore not permissible!
Important
Operating and water conditions should be observed according to
DIN 2035. Implementation in closed heating circuit systems.
Important
Heaters supplied are intended solely for room heating. They are
not suitable as seating or as climbing or mounting aids.
Depending on the flow pipe temperature the heator surface may
heat up to 110°C.
Risk of burning!
Maintenance and cleaning
Bleed the heater following commissioning and extended
interruptions in operation.
For cleaning purposes, only mild and non-abrasive commercially
available cleaning agents may be used.
Complaints
In the event of damage, contact your specialised craftsman!
Attention!
Commission qualified tradesmen only to perform assembly and
repair jobs to assure that your rights according to the warranty of
quality law are not nullified!
Accessories
According to the currently valid sales documentation.
VIII Assembly procedure
1 Please read the instructions carefully prior to
assembly!
2 Transport and storage shall only be carried out in the
protective packaging!
3 Mounting location
Important
In the case of electric auxiliary operation the safety areas
prescribed in VDE 0100 part 701 must be observed (at the heater
side outside bath tub or shower area, socket and timer at least
0.6 m away at the side).
Please also observe all local regulations.

Important
The securing material delivered with the unit is designed for use in
private buildings for adequately supporting bearing surfaces.
However, the securing method suitable in each case must always
be checked out locally and the securing material must match the
installation situation.
5 Have all tools at hand as required
6 Mount suitable connection screw fittings to size
according to fig. in section “II Side and rear view“
(91-101mm).
(Please observe mounting area behind the cover!)
7
Mount wall bracket on connection screw fitting using
an assembling jig (I).
8 Push the wall bracket angle section against the wall
9 Fix the position of the bracket angle by tightening both
nuts. Screw nuts tight!
10 Mark drill hole positions
11 Remove the wall bracket from the connection screw
fitting using the assembling jig (I).
12 Drill two plug holes at the markings:
Diameter 10mm, depth 80mm
Important:
Check the bearing surface for adequate supporting
capacity!
Observe clearance requirements: Heater – side wall / room
ceiling min. 50mm !
Drill by rotation and not impact in the case of low strength materials
such as hollow bricks, lightweight or aerated concrete.
Danger to life !
Be careful not to damage any water or gas piping, or live
cables when drilling!
13 Insert in the dowels (E) in the drill holes.
14 Replace the wall bracket on the connection screw
fitting with the assembling jig (I) and secure to the wall
horizontally with the washer (G) and hexagon socket
screw (F).
15 Remove the assembling jig by loosening the cap nuts
on the connection screw fitting and the wall bracket
connection.
16 With the wall bracket as starting point, mark off drill
dimensions H and L.
17 Drill two horizontal dowel holes:
Diameter 10mm, depth 80mm
Danger to life !
Be careful not to damage any water or gas piping, or live cables
when drilling !
18 Insert dowels (E) in drill hole and screw in retaining
bolt (H) to collar, align perpendicular to the wall if
necessary.
19
Mount wall rosette (N) and fixing plates (K)
Secure wall rosette to the wall.
20
Remove protective film from connection and mounting
positions only.
Otherwise leave in place until the heater is commissioned.
21 Screw clip-on holder (J) into the top heater end so that
the screw marking remains visible.
Mount length compensator (C) on the valve.
22 Position heater with the bottom rear cross tube on
the wall bracket and push the clip-on holder onto the
retaining bolt.
Tighten screws M4 slightly to secure the heater against falling.
The screws engage in the bolt recess.
23 Mount securing cladding (L), insert in the wall rosettes
(N) and press into the pipe end.
24 Align heater
Align at the side using screws M4
25 Align heater
Adjust wall clearance by shifting along the retaining bolt. Adjust
height by the screw on the clip-on holder.
Important
When correctly mounted the marking on the screw of the clip-on
holder is within the header tube projection.
26 Position wall rosettes correctly.
Mount securing cladding (K) and press into the header tube.
27 Tighten screws M4 securely. Lock screw in the clip-on
holder by means of a nut.
28 Screw in vent plug.
29 Connect to the heating system
Check the system for leaks!
30 Screw on thermostat head (D), clip on valve cover (B).
31 Dispose of packaging material via recycling systems.
Send scrap heaters with accessories for recycling or orderly waste
disposal as required (observe regional regulations).
