Playback of discs
Open the tray and place a disc

The tray opens when the key is pressed and closes when the
key is pressed again.

With some VCD discs, return to the menu screen is
done with pause at the time of P.B.C. ON.

Depending on the disc, playback may start automatically.
To change the disc of another tray dur-
ing playback, do the following.

key.

Set the disc.

key to close the tray.
The disc being played back remains as it is, while
the other discs can be exchanged.

When a Disc Menu appears on the screen (DVD or VCD)
In case of interactive DVDs, a Disc Menu appears on the screen.
Then press
ENTER
to select specific menu you want to play by using
Cursor keys.

RESUME playback
When playback has been stopped while watching a movie, it may be desired to restart playback from the stopped part.
This unit memorizes the stop position even when the power is switched off, and when the unit is switched on again,
it is possible to continue playback from the previous stop position. This function is called the RESUME function.
When the

key has been pressed once during playback to stop the playback, and then playback is started again, play
will start from the point where the playback had been stopped. When the
7
key is pressed again during stop, the RESUME
function is cancelled.
RESUME is cancelled when 5 minutes have passed in RESUME status.
