• To use KPE-2, the transceiver firmware must be version
2.00 or later.
• If the transceiver firmware is version 1.xx, please update it
to the latest available firmware. (Refer to page 7.)
• Additionally, programming software KPG-102D requires
version 2.00 or later.
1. Installing the ALE unit (KPE-2)
Remove the top case in advance.
1. Connect the accessory flat cable to CN1 on the KPE-2

2. Mount the KPE-2 (ALE unit) and secure it with the three
screws (

3. Then connect the flat cable to CN15 of the X57-721 (

).
