following formula for unit change.
(dB//) = (dBrn) + 107
However, in the case of dB// this unit displays an open end level (EMF dB//),
and in case of dBrn the display shows as 50Q termination.
Accordingly, in the case of t h i s unit
EMF
mu
(displayed l e v e l ) - (dBrn) + 113
In t h i s instruct ion manual, the dB// unit always denotes EMF dB^.
Example: Setting the output level to 100 dB// by direct sett ing.

4-2-4 STEP SETTING
As in the case of frequency s e t t i n g , the l e v e l s e t t i n g can also be done by
changing the level in steps.
For the s e t t i n g procedure, refer to the Section "4-1-3 Step Setting". However,
instead of the FREQ (MHz) key ment ioned in the i n s t r u c t ions, the LEVEL (dB)
key s h o u l d be used and output l e v e l v a l u e s h o u l d be s u b s t i t u t e d f o r

The range in which step s e t t i n g i s possible i s 1 to 20 dB.
4-2-5 LEVEL PRESET FUNCTION
