SELF PROGRAMMING
Mode Entry
1. Hold
PWR

PTT

UP
to enter the mode.
Indications
1. Yellow LED lights.
2. Announces “
Self
” + “
Channel One
”
Operations
1. Use the [
Up
], [
Down
] keys to select the
channel.
2. Confirm the channel by press [
PTT
]. Radio will
go to frequency setup after channel
confirmation mode.
3. Use the [
Up
], [
Down
] keys to select frequency
from the frequency table and table number will
be announced.
4. Press [
PTT
] to confirm the selected frequency,
radio will go on to QT/DQT setup mode. "
QT
"
will be announced in the QT/DQT setup mode.
5. Use the [
Up
], [
Down
] keys to select QT or
DQT setup mode. "
QT
" or "
DQT
" will be
announced when selected. Press [
PTT
] to
confirm the setup mode.
6. In the QT/DQT setup mode, select QT/DQT
from the QT/DQT table, and table number will
be announced.
7. Press [
PTT
] to confirm the table number.
Radio will go back to Channel select mode.
8. Repeat the step 1 to 7 to setup another
channel’s frequency & QT/DQT.
9. To save & exit, hold [
PF2
] + [
PTT
] for 3 sec., a
confirmation tone sounds and radio is reset
and back to normal operation mode.
10. To exit without save, press & hold [
PWR
].
Power off tone sounds and radio is off.
Self Programming Timer is 20 seconds
First, turn Off the radio,
then operate keys to enter each mode.
