Resetting the microcomputer
Microcomputer
malfunction (the system
does not work, the
display is faulty, etc.).
Malfunctions may occur due to an external cause or because a
connection cord was unplugged while the system was turned on.
Use the procedure below to reset the microcomputer.

Unplug the power cord from
the AC wall outlet.

Plug the power cord back in while
holding down the power
[

]
key on
the main unit.

When the microcomputer is reset,
the display shown on the right
appears.
If you reset the microcomputer
with a disc loaded, the disc is
automatically ejected. In that case,
remove the disc and close the
CD tray.
